As we head out of the Covid 19 pandemic and these unprecedented times one theme has emerged for us as mountain bikers and a non profit. What would we do without trails?
And more importantly, what would we do without more trails close to home ?
As a member based non profit we rely on your support to get the work of building and maintaining trails on public lands done. We need your membership dollars to operate on your behalf.
And your trails need you know more than ever, with more users flocking to the trails and more new cyclists brought to the sport of mountain biking because of the pandemic, there is a maintenance backlog and a need to build capacity aka more trails!
Fortunately even though times have been challenging we have been able to keep building to meet demand for new trail development in Atlanta because of your support. Our professional trail building crew, MTB Atlanta Pro Trails has been building new trails at Brown’s Mill in Coweta County, Chattahoochee Bend State Park in Coweta County, Moore’s Bridge in Carroll County, Sykes Park in East Point, and at the Castle Playground in along the Greenbelt in Carrollton. We’ve also kicked off a brand new build at Canongate Nature Preserve in Coweta.
