Southside Park chosen for IMBA’s new Dig In Campaign!

SORBA Atlanta is pleased to announce that we have been chosen to be a recipient of the new national fundraising campaign that IMBA is calling “Dig In” for our new trail project at Southside Park!  We are one of 68 projects from across the country selected to participate and receive funding from the new campaign.

The “Dig In” Campaign has a two components- the first is a fund raiser where IMBA is soliciting corporate partners at the national level to donate to all of the projects equally, and the second is an online crowdfunding campaign where people can donate directly to our project at Southside Park! The funds raised on a national level get distributed equally amongst the 68 projects, but any funds donated online directly to our trail project go straight to our trail fund!

This is where we need your help.  We have a $7,500 goal for our Park Pride Legacy Grant to build the Poole Creek Bridge and 7 miles of trail ITP on City Park land. This project is the culmination of over 10 years of advocacy work for access and the first trail project purpose built for Mountain Biking and Outdoor Recreation on City of Atlanta Park land and inside the Perimeter just 5 miles from the center of Downtown.

Please share this link https://win.imba.com/digin?chapter=210548 through social media and email, and share the news of the Campaign on your rides and at your local bike shop. Please donate today and encourage your friends and family to do the same.  Any funds received from this program will go to match our Park Pride Legacy Grant to build the Poole Creek Bridge and towards subsequent phases of construction at Southside Park!  So let’s dig in and share the stoke for the first trail system on Atlanta Park land!
