Build Party – Cannongate Nature Preserve

Join us to do trail work on our brand new trail build at the newly established Cannongate Nature Preserve in Coweta County with the Southeastern Trust for Parks and Land.
We will be doing finishing work on the new tread and general trash clean up around the Park. We are also looking for a few volunteers in Coweta or South Fulton to help put in a rail fence and clear some scrub around the parking area at Canongate Nature Park. The trails are pretty much done but need some dry weather to get the last steps finished. Once we get the parking area straight we can open.
MTB Atlanta is resuming work parties in limited capacity this season and is using local regulations and CDC guidelines to conduct these events. We will adhere to mask requirements and social distancing at these events.
Have a mask, gloves, wear long pants and closed toed shoes and bring a pack, water, snacks, bug spray and your epi pen if you are allergic to bees.
