BIKE VIP CLASS with the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area

The Chattahoochee National Recreation Area and MTB Atlanta are partnering for a Bike VIP (Volunteers in Park) program to establish a volunteer presence in the Park and the shared use trails at Sope Creek. Do you enjoy helping others and riding your bike? The Park is looking for people who are CPR/First Aid certified to be “moving sign posts” for the Park and the trails. While you ride, you can record trail conditions, help others with way finding, help respond to emergency and first aid needs of other trail users and help promote good trail etiquette for all trail users.

The Park has a 4 hour orientation class which will run Saturday, March 23rd from 1-4. If you want to participate in the program you will also have to be CPR/First Aid certified. If you do not have this certification, you can sign up with the Park for the certification for free.
