3 Ways to Volunteer and Give Back to the Trails You Ride this MLK Jr Weekend !!!
We have three volunteer trail workdays going this Saturday this MLK JR weekend!! It’s going to be a great weekend to celebrate the life of Dr. King and give back to your trails and public lands by volunteering in the spirit of public service!
First up, join us on our new trail and park project at Campbellton Creek Nature Park with the Southeastern Trust for Parks and Land and the City of South Fulton – Georgia for a MLK day of service! We will be building a fence, a trash pick up and doing finishing work on the new trail that is currently being built by MTB Atlanta Pro Trails. Meet at the corner of Plummer Rd and Riverside Dr. at 9:45 and we will get started at 10. Lunch will be provided at 1!
Secondly, our monthly trail day at Allatoona Creek will run 9-12. We will be doing winter clean up on the trails clearing drains, armoring and tread work. Meet at 8:45 at the parking lot at 5690 Old Stilesboro Road. Lunch provided!
Third we have our monthly work party at Sope Creek. We will be doing drain work on the backside of the lower loop. Meet up at the Columns Drive Parking lot at 8:45. Be prepared for a good hike and bring a pack with gloves, water and snacks.

As always we appreciate your interest and time volunteering on the trails of the MTB Atlanta Trail Network. Volunteers are critical to maintain the trails you ride as funding for maintenance on public lands is unavailable. Mountain biking on public lands is a sport that requires your donations and volunteer participation and we hope to see you out this weekend!
